Jersey is packed full of places to see and explore from award winning attractions, castles and ruins to modern day stylish shopping.
With so many restaurants, cafés, and pubs, don’t even think of dieting! The food will have the taste buds going crazy. The surrounding seas provide fresh fish, lobster, crab, mussels and other tantalizing examples from the waters where fisherman cast ashore daily. Choose from the many locally farmed produce and when you’re in Jersey it’s a MUST to try the Jersey potato. Grown nowhere else.
During a week-long walking festival in May of each year, the Island’s most respected and experienced walking guides will take you along coastal paths, through woodland country paths and cliff top paths. Or at any time of the year you may go it alone along the many organized paths that provide directional signs and information plaques. The views are breath taking and the clean fresh air will guide you to that well deserved rest after an evening meal and beverage.
Throughout the year, the people of Jersey organize outstanding events for all to enjoy. Some of the major events include
